Salary £8.72 per hour
Our Client have many years' experience in the private Nursing Home sector. Each Home has a reputation for delivering high quality nursing care.
The Role & Responsibilities:
To assist as part of a team in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment and within that environment to have specific responsibility for maintaining high cleaning standards throughout all prescribed areas.
General cleaning of all prescribed areas, adhering to recommended cleaning methods and observing current hygiene practices.
Knowledge of Policies & Procedures:
- The care, use and storage of equipment and cleaning materials
- Health & Safety
- Accident Prevention & Reporting
- Control of Infection
- Fire Precautions & Home Procedures
- COSHH Regulations
- Maintain a strict code of confidentiality in relation to the knowledge of residents
Participate fully in training provided to maximise job performance eg: Food & Hygiene, First Aid, Cross Infection etc.
Familiarisation with Policy Manuals and adhere to Personnel Procedures
Adhere to the Staff Uniform Dress Code at all times.
Essential Skills & Requirements:
Physically Fit - able to assist in the moving & handling of various housekeeping equipment etc
Ability to work as part of a team
Communication skills - able to interact with residents whilst performing duties
Sensitive to the needs of the residents
Self motivated and organised
Flexible - able to undertake a number of duties
Able to maintain confidentiality
Courteous and sensitive to residents needs
