The role of General Manager?

You will head up this team of approx. 20 with a strong restaurant manager to support you in the business. This client likes to have candidates who are dynamic and can work with autonomy, the idea is that you treat the Restaurant as your own business. You will be commercially savvy and can lead and motivate your team to guarantee success. You will also manage the Kitchen team directly, so an understanding of the kitchen and stocks is essential – you will have support from a Regional Chef.

Who will you be as General Manager?

• We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a big impact, so you need to be very confident and dynamic with experience managing teams/budgets/labour costs.
• Resilient – we’re all facing labour shortages – retention and building a solid culture in your restaurant is essential
• Owning the auditing process - would be willing to do the training and complete level 3 of Food /Safety – the restaurant is your responsibility
• We also have a multitude of nationalities working in our restaurants so understanding and respect for different cultures is essential.
• Most of all they must be self-sufficient and driven to increase revenue and improve customer service/feedback.
• A leader and someone who can inspire their team to work for them.
